This weekend has been particularly fruitful so I thought it deserved a post.

Earlier in the week, I got a call from Justin asking if he could use one of my

in a short film he is producing as part of a body of work done for the charity selfharm.co.uk. We met up this weekend so I could sign a release form and Justin kindly gave me a preview showing of the shorts, all of which were superb. I look forward to their completion and I’m sure the campaign will be a success.

After a well earned trip to Luton, I returned early Saturday morning to pick up the final, highly anticipated parts to my DOF adaptor from the post office only to find the post office had returned both parts to their respective senders. One in Germany, one in China. So it’s now likely to be another month or 2 before the parts are redelivered.

Today was the first and main day of shooting for the Dice sketch. On the whole I think it went pretty well. I was quite to find that we had been lent some pretty decent equipment for the day, so was a bit daunting at first, but for the most part we got to grips with it. We got some really good shots, which I think are going to look pretty funny when it’s put together. There were a couple of bits I thought we could have improved, given the time, but realistically speaking the shots are going to fly by so quickly on screen it won’t show that much anyway.

Art

This weekend marked Zoe’s birthday, and so I made her a tshirt with my as-yet unused screen print. I was pretty happy with the clarity of the print, but made a couple of extra splashes of ink by mistake.

I corrected this mistake, by repeating it. several times. The message reads Tomodachi Itsumo

Upon returning home to a Saturday without a brand new DOF adaptor, I decided to fill my day with another project and so made another tshirt
