No visual updates this time, just more info on the latest.

Went to Scotland for the weekend so spent around 10 hours on trains in total, got a fair bit of editing done, which I’m pleased with.

While away I received a message from a friend asking me to call him back. I did so on the Sunday morning after my return and he informed me he had been used as an actor in a rather rushed short film his friend was making. It turns out the film had to be completed for a submission deadline of the end of the month and that they were short an editor.

He asked if I would be interested and gave me the appropriate contact details. I called the guy who was heading the project and he seemed very keen to get as many useful people on board as possible and was appreciative of my interest.

It turns out that despite the rushed nature of the project, nearly everyone involved so far had been an industry professional and that the film wasn’t going on show here in the UK, but in LA in the states.

I’m now very keen to get this underway and make a success of it. Just hope I can make a valuable contribution.
